Sales and Service Representative – FESTO (F114)

Primary responsibility is business development via a consultative, technical sales approach for the defined customers in this industry. Effectively handle assigned customers through consultative selling and the technical understanding of applications. Responsible for customer visit planning, account planning and maintaining documentation of visits. Recommends pricing strategies according to customer situation in coordination with segment Manager. Identifies and targets potential customers, services and maintains existing customers and improves customer relations in order to increase market penetration. Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility and/or contacting by phone. Develops in conjunction with management sales strategies to sell applicable product lines and services and implements such in order to achieve predetermined annual sales target. Visits customer facilities, maintains contact and consults in order to secure sales to existing and potential customers. Analyzes and researches pertinent information in order to respond to Customer inquiries regarding product features and performance, product application, product substitution and special application requests. Travel within the region may be required. Experience and Skills: Advanced Diploma  or Bachelor Science in technical discipline preferred Working knowledge with pneumatics, motion control and automation Food & Beverage segment experience preferred Field sales force, key account management, project management experience is desired Exposure or demonstrated involvement to account development with a long selling cycle Effective oral and written communication skills Good working knowledge of MS office products. 2-5 Years working experience
